Legynds teams at 17U and 16U both had massive showings over the weekend, topping their respective divisions in pool play.

At the 17U level, Legynds EYCL picked up wins over Southern Ties, 75-65 and TGA Select Gray, 59-39, sandwiched around a tough one-point loss to Southern Assault, 64-63.

Two-sport athlete JD Wilson had an impressive weekend.

Kade Speckman and Franck Belibi Jr. also turned heads with some highlight-reel play above the rim.

The Legynds 16U EYBL team experienced a similar weekend. Their lone loss came in the opener, a one-point heartbreaker against Southern Ties. However, they responded with an 89-56 win over Southern Assault later that day and a 59-39 victory over I4 Sports the next day.

Top performers for the 16U Legynds included Joc Mitchell and Memphis Duffie

Not only did both teams lead their respective divisions despite taking the one loss, they each put two players on the Made Hoops Standouts list.
